TESSI’s Introduction

TESSI, an original character by D’Angelo Perrier (REAL DEE), embodies his fascination with both the arts and the cosmos. Serving as a conduit for his creative journey, TESSI reflects Dee’s artistic growth and evolution, continually transforming as new horizons are explored. Each artwork adds a chapter to TESSI’s ongoing story – a series of snapshots that capture moments throughout its life. These moments may parallel Dee’s own life experiences, blurring the line between creator and creation, transforming TESSI into a symbolic self-portrait. Through Dee’s work, from fine arts to hand painted toys, he aims to spark curiosity and inspire others to see the intersections of art, science, and imagination.

TESSI’s Story

After being born and escaping from the most violent and mysterious regions of the universe, a collapsing black hole, TESSI embarks on a journey of discovery. TESSI sets its eyes on Earth, seemingly the only place in its search that has signs of life. Upon arrival, TESSI notices the lifeforms on Earth vary in size, shape, and color. To go unnoticed, TESSI makes landfall in a bustling city and blends in with the crowd - almost immediately. Doing so, TESSI goes from disguise to disguise - persona to persona - all while learning what it means to…exist.
